Cancer Surveillance

Monitor, track, and triage patients under surveillance for high cancer risk, progression, recurrence or long-term treatment effects. Cancer Insights uses proprietary algorithms that consider the patient’s recent labs, patient reported outcomes, and/or imaging to monitoring the patient’s trajectory and recommend the appropriate clinical response – electronic contact, virtual visit, call, or in-person visit which allows clinics to maximize resources. Also receive alerts when patients are overdue for follow up so continuity of care is maintained.

This active research project is in collaboration with Dana-Farber/Brigham Cancer Center and funded by the NCI SBIR grant program.

Surveillance case tracking dashboard

Surveillance case tracking dashboard

Configure the surveillance dashboard for your disease program guidelines. A complete patient list allows the care team to easily monitor the entire patient population. Cancer Insights digests incoming lab and imaging results which feed the configurable algorithm to triage patients for follow up. Customized questionnaires can be sent to patients electronically to assess symptoms and determine needs.

Transition between active treatment and surveillance

Transition between active treatment and surveillance

Cancer Insights AI models will identify if test results suggest a potential recurrence so that patients in surveillance can be routed for timely follow up and subsequent tests or treatment discussions. The AI extracted evidence is linked to specific records which are presented to the care team for final verification.

Clinically validated symptom questionnaire

Clinically validated symptom questionnaire

Cancer Insights supports a workflow to electronically push a symptom questionnaire to the patient through an anonymized link. This non-PHI approach reduces the patient and provider burden and streamlines surveillance contacts.
